Fully refurbished in 2016, soft and supple biscuit leather with a ruffled design along with matching leather door cards which are immaculate. The body colour metal dash with gold painted facia has been fully refurbished an is unmarked. New contrasting deep pile tan carpets have been fitted throughout. The original Jaeger instrument gauges all work perfectly and look stunning complimented by the original cream bakelite steering wheel trimmed in leather, all electrical switches work as they were intended as does the Smiths heater. A discrete box in the rear houses the immaculate side screens. Simply beautiful…
Finished in original and rare Almond Green metallic paintwork (Code GN37) and referred to as MetaliiChrome when new. The complete body and chassis have been bare metal stripped, sanded/painted to perfection giving a uniformed deep gloss shine and completed in 2013. It's clear to see from the pictures that it's still stunning today which is testament to the outstanding quality of workmanship carried out 8 years ago. The panel fit is perfect throughout, the door closures are factory perfect. All body fittings, trims, lights, bumpers, door handles etc. were all refurbished or replaced using genuine parts where possible. The canvas hood, full tonneau cover, side screens and frame were all replaced during the restoration and still look stunning. A Moss original style removable luggage rack complements the look of this show standard TF.
The underside of the car is equally as impressive, works included stripped and painted chassis in correct black semi-gloss, suspension, fuel tank, propshaft, diff, leaf springs, new floors etc etc the list goes on and on nothing missed.
The attention to detail and condition... Simply amazing
The original steel pressed vented wheels have been fully refurbished, the chrome hubcaps with the famous octagonal MG badging are in fantastic order. Sitting on all matching excellent Toyo 330 165/80 R15 tyres. The brake system has been completely overhauled with all new components, she pulls up with ease and perfectly straight.
The original matching numbers XPAG 1250cc in-line four engine with twin SU carburettors was fully rebuilt in 2015 and runs on unleaded fuel. The original gearbox has been replaced with a 5 speed Ford Type 9 unit making driving in modern day traffic a joy. She starts quickly hot or cold, gear selects gears with ease and the clutch is light and progressive.
The engine bay is fully detailed throughout and supports the original MG brass vehicle identification plaques, she sounds lovely through the stainless steel back box... Such fun to drive.
This original home market RHD Series "TF" was built 13-15th January 1954 and dispatched 19th January 1954 an comes with an eye catching registration number.
A full ground up professional chassis and body restoration completed 2013, full engine rebuild in 2015, completely refurbished interior 2016.
The history file is packed with invoices for parts, service work and restoration totalling thousands of pounds in recent years and some dating back as far as 1966, restoration pictures, British Motor Industry Heritage Certificate proving it's a genuine home market RHD supplied car and matching numbers.

The MG Midget sport cars produced from 1936 till 1955 are known as the MG Series T-Type Midget. The production was started in 1936 with the TA, after which the TB followed just before the outbreak of World War II. After the war in 1945, the production was continued with the MG TC. In 1949 the MG TD was introduced, after which in 1953 the latest model in the T-series was introduced, the MG TF. The production was stopped in 1955, 20 years after of the first T-type was introduces. The MGA was introduced in 1955, for which the T-types were the predecessors.
