Derived from the ZZ-R1100 of the 90s, the Kawasaki ZRX1200 16v transverse DOHC motor is tough, capable of high mileages with ease and with 123 bhp on tap has more than enough power for a naked/half faired machine. The Kawasaki ZRX1200 breathes through Keihin CVKD36 carbs, the five-speed gearbox is slick in operation. The Yoshimura end can sounds deep and throaty but not offensive and looks amazing.... Great fun to ride what's not to like

MOT Unitl 28th September 2021 and of course the ZRX is HPi Clear.
At the turn of the century Kawasaki had a strong contender in the naked muscle bike stakes with its 1997 ZRX1100. But by 2001 it had serious competition from bikes like the Yamaha XJR1300. So Team Green gave the ZRX a hefty upgrade, releasing it as the ZRX1200 for 2001.
The obvious change is to the engine, which was bumped up from 1,052cc to 1,164cc capacity, and gained an extra 20-odd bhp, now up to around 125bhp. It stuck with carburettors and a five-speed gearbox.
The Kawasaki ZRX1200 is a big, beefy, retro styled bike with plenty of grunt, a comfortable riding position and good looks. Production ran from 2001 to 2007.
