This truly is an exceptional restoration of a much sought after model. All original panels and tank have been painted to the highest standards. All chrome work is either new or rechromed original items. Engine casings blast cleaned and polished, frame powder coated. The iconic four-exit exhaust system is a brand new Doremi item. Under the seat you will find the original Kawasaki tool kit all fully restored.
Wheels, Tyres & Brakes
This Z900 comes complete with new D.I.D wheel rims and NOS steel spokes. The original wheels were not deemed to be in a safe enough condition to restore so replacement rims sourced. Shod with brand new Avon Road Rider 100/90-19 front and 120/90-18 rear tyres. Both wheel hubs fully refurbished. Front forks blast cleaned, lower fork legs polished, new stanchions fitted, fork seals, dust covers and oil. The rear coil over oil damped shock absorbers are new... Stunning
Engine & Transmission
The four stroke 903cc four cylinder in-line air cooled DOHC engine produces 82 BHP with a top speed of 132mph. The engine and carburettors have been completely rebuilt, Re-bore engine block to 0.5mm over size using IMD piston set, replace crank main bearings and all engine seals, replace cylinder head valve guides and valve guide seals, recut valves seats, replace complete clutch assembly, refurbish gearbox, vapour clean carburettors reassemble to factory settings using all new genuine Mikuni parts as required... The work cost thousands, engine built in the frame with photographic evidence.
A mere 136 miles have been covered since the full rebuild, she sounds and rides beautifully.

This is a comprehensive restoration of a matching numbers genuine UK home market Kawasaki Z900 A4 registered 22nd September 1976. The standard of restoration is first class every nut bolt and washer has either been refurbished or replaced using NOS where possible.
Supplied with 2 keys, one key fits all locks and Kawasaki genuine tool kit. The history file contains detailed A4 pictures of the bike during restoration along with receipts and invoices for parts and work carried out totalling thousands.

When the Z900 arrived in the UK in 1976 superseding the Z1B it listed at £1369. The new bike maintained the Z1's lovely looks, but this was in fact a substantially re-engineered machine. In addition to new Diamond Dark Green or Brown paintwork, the Z900 featured new bodywork, instruments, electrics, carburettors, improved frame, forks and brakes. The Z900 only lasted a year before being replaced by the Z1000.
