The original seats were re-upholstered by a specialist restorer at a cost of over £900 in navy leather, all foam replaced with new. The door cards and full carpet set were also replaced in the same matching navy colour way. The original dashboard and facia are all in exceptional order, and complimented with a Motalita wood rim steering wheel. All original clocks and gauges work perfectly with crystal clear glass, all switches, electrics and heater work as they were intended. Correct MG rubber floor mats protect the luxury carpet set. A fold away/removable mesh wind deflector has also been fitted and trimmed in navy to match this stunning interior.
The original body shell was completely stripped during 1994 shortly after being purchased from the first lady owner and subject to a full inside and out restoration in the original factory colour of Glacier White (Code BLVC 59). The paint finish and bodywork is still outstanding today, factory panel fit, perfect shut lines and gaps, the history file contains photographic evidence of the car during the restoration. The underside is solid throughout and fully undersealed.
Most of the original bright work was re-plated or replaced with quality items during the restoration. The navy mohair hood is perfect and screens all very clear.
The chrome wire wheels and chrome spinners are in fantastic blemish free order. All matching premium 155/80 R14 radial tyres have plenty of tread remaining.
The original brake system has been fully restored with all new copper brake lines, refurbished and painted calipers, new front discs etc. needless to say the braking power is excellent. Steering is precise and responsive, handling superb courtesy of the Koni shock absorbers which also make her sit perfectly.
The 1.8 litre B-Series o.h.v. straight four-cylinder 1798cc engine is superb. The head has been converted to run on unleaded fuel, all fuel lines and pump replaced. The original engine was fully rebuilt 10,000 miles ago all with photographic evidence, receipts for parts and work carried out. Needless to say she responds superbly, pulls strong in every gear, starts easily hot or cold, perfect oil pressure and idles faultlessly. Overdrive in 3rd and 4th gears which operates in and out with ease, the gearbox and clutch are light and precise, she sounds magical through the full stainless steel exhaust and sport manifold... Such fun to drive.

The MGB is a classic British roadster that was originally introduced in 1962. By 1967, changes were incorporated that lead to the designation of the MGB Mk II (officially the 1968 model year). This model continued in production until August 1971, and was then superseded by the MGB roadster Mk III in October 1971.
Like the Mk I and Mk II MGB, the Mk III is a two-door roadster powered by a front-mounted, rear-wheel drive 1798cc B Series engine. The Mark III benefitted from a revised interior, with centre console now utilising rocker switches and with two air vents in the middle. An armrest was added between the front seats.
In October 1972, the MGB Mk III roadster was fitted with a black plastic cross-mesh grille with a wide chrome surround (now incorporating the MG badge) and vertical centre chrome bar. The steering wheel was redesigned, and padded armrests replaced the door pull straps.
