The luxurious black leather upholstery is a superb contrast to the Duck Egg Blue exterior paintwork. The supple leather presents in outstanding order.

The folding/reclining sports seats show no signs of any adverse wear, matching leather door cards with elasticated door pockets, leather trimmed centre console, door check straps, dash top, gear and handbrake gaitors all unmarked.

Original black carpets piped in black and Morgan rubber footwell mats again piped in black, all in excellent order, and unmarked. A tool storage tray is descretely located under the rear shelf containing the jack and wheel wrench.

The unique body coloured dash facia is flawless with no marks, displaying the 70th Anniversary 4/4 St. Christopher plaque and special 70th Anniversary Smiths instrumentation. 

All interior lighting, gauges, switches and electrics work as they were intended. Fitted with a premium Blaupunkt Malaga CD36 sound system an matching Blaupunkt Speakers.

Navy fleece-lined mohair half tonneau with embroidered Morgan logo in cream, plus a full navy tonneau cover. Moto-Lita wood rim steering wheel with aluminium centre boss inscribed with the Morgan logo and 1952 model year representing the exact 70th Anniversary 4/4 model... Simply perfect.

Exterior

Finished in factory Duck Egg Blue, which was one of only 4 colours available in this 1950's model. Just 2 cars were made in this colourway, complete with a fold-flat windscreen and sheepskin bonnet strap.

The paintwork has a brilliant, uniformed deep gloss shine throughout. All original panels are perfectly straight, and gaps as per it left the factory. All original lights front and rear are in exceptional order with uniform colour and a silky polished finish.

Front and rear chrome overriders, optional stainless steel rear luggage rack with screen holder, Lucas wing top sidelights, stainless badge bar with Morgan Sports Car Club enamel badge, round door mirrors, locking door handles, high-level brake light and Lemans style filler cap.

Unmarked Navy Mohair Deluxe Hood Pack with a crystal clear split design rear screen attached to an easy fold stainless steel hood frame. Matching unmarked Mohair sides screens that store neatly in a Mohair zip bag with a central divider for screen protection and embroidered with the Morgan logo. The screen bag stows away securely on the luggage rack...

WHEELS - Fitted with period steel pressed vented wheels with chrome hubcaps.

TYRES - Sitting on all matching excellent Continental Contact 165/80 R15 tyres.  

BRAKES - Hydraulic dual-circuit braking system with front discs and AP Lockheed 2-piston calipers, rear 9-inch drum brakes.

Here we have a oppotunity to own a very rare 70th Anniversary Edition Morgan 4/4, in the wonderful colour combination of Duck Egg Blue coachwork, Black leather with a Mohair Navy hood and side screens, mohair embroidered storage bag, plus matching full and half tonneau covers.

Just 2 previous keepers. This 4/4 was registered new to Mr Hinton on the 17th May 2006 by Morgan Main Agents, Thomson & Potter Limited, Burrelton, Blairgowrie, Scotland. Mr Hinton cherished the car for 14 years until October 2020 and covered 11,988 miles. The car was then supplied by Aston Workshops to the second owner Mr Balfour, who kept it until the Spring of 2024.

The large history file contains the original Morgan black leather embroidered wallet with 4/4 Owners Handbook, 70th Anniversary Edition Morgan 4/4 Suplementary Owners Handbook, Morgan Certificate of Conformity, hand written order confirmation dated 31st January 2006, sales brochure highlighting these special editions, stamped service records, every MOT Certificate since the first on 18th May 2009 at 4641 miles, every passed road tax disc, 4 sets of original keys, sidescreen locking bars, plus receipts and invoices for servicing and maintenance back to new.

MOT until October 2026 and of course this 4/4 is HPI clear with certificate included.

This very rare 1950's 70th Anniversary Edition 4/4 presents stunningly throughout, it's clearly been loved and cherished by its 3 owners. Maintained to an exceptional standard, very low 18,621 miles supported by fully documented history, it's certainly one not to be missed and ready to be enjoyed.

Entering its seventy-first year in 2006, the Morgan 4/4 was already well established as the world’s longest-running production model. To celebrate, the Malvern manufacturer commissioned a run of 142 ‘70th Anniversary Edition’ cars (two per build year). Each decade was given its own ‘identity’ in terms of paint colours, soft-top designs and upholstery, etc
