Engine & Transmission
Developed completely from scratch, the 3.0 litre, six-cylinder twin-turbo boxer engine of the 911 Carrera. Developing 370 hp, 450 Nm torque from as low as 1,700 rpm. Combined with the optional 7-Speed Doppelkupplung PDK gearbox the Carrera 2 can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in only 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 182 mph.
The magical 911 growl through the optional sports exhaust system continues through the rev range right up to peak revs of 7500 RPM, it cannot fail to impress... Amazing to drive.
