Brakes - Non-servo split hydraulic system with Lotus/AP Racing opposed piston calipers, new 282mm vented discs, Mintex pads and Goodridge braided hoses.
Suspension - Fully rebuilt suspension costing circa £2,900, Independent upper and lower wishbones, Eibach springs and Bilstein racing dampers with lowering damper mounts 25mm/45mm.
Engine & Transmission
Transverse mid-mounted 4 cylinder water cooled 1.8 16v high revving K-series engine, double overhead camshafts with hydraulic tappets, electronic fuel injection, 118 BHP @ 5500 RPM, 121.8 lb-ft torque @ 3000 RPM and 0-60 in 5.8 seconds.
The Lotus Elise proves less is more... weighing in at 690kg on the road she cannot fail to impress, smooth clutch, slick gear changes, exceptional handling and balance.
