The original Jaguar bucket seats have been beautifully trimmed in fine biscuit leather, embossed with the Jaguar emblem and are unmarked. Biscuit deep pile carpets with sound deadening and choice of 3 sets of bespoke tailored over mats all as new, original door cards again retrimmed in fine biscuit leather with flawless chrome furniture, leather centre armrest and cubby box, matching leather gearstick gaiter, cream headlining and original sun visors all retrimmed to perfection.
The original dashboard presents as new, all interior lighting, crystal clear Smiths gauges and Lucas ammeter, Lucas dipping rear view mirror, toggle switches and electrics work as they were intended.
Fitted with a period Radiomobile 920T push button radio, wood rim 3-spoke brushed aluminium E-Type steering wheel and original Growler centre boss... Stunning throughout.
Exterior
The body has been extensively restored to concours standard in 2016/17 by XK Classics London Limited.
Painted in the original Jaguar colour of Carmen Red. The paintwork offers a flawless uniform finish which is a testament to the quality of workmanship carried out 8 years ago.
Factory panel fit, shut lines, gaps, and reassuring thud as you close the doors. The underside is equally as impressive as the top, painted in body colour, every component has been meticulously restored and presents to show standards.
All external bright work is either original or replated and looks stunning throughout. Original Lucas lighting all around with the exception of better performing halogen headlights. A new Triplex laminated correct tint windscreen has been fitted, side windows are all original Triplex fitment including the rear opening quarter windows and all unmarked... Wonderful

Wheels - Sitting on full stainless steel highly polished 6.0 x 15 72 spoke wire wheels and all matching perfect ER70VR15 Dunlop SP Sport Tyres 205/70 VR15 at a cost of £3175.
Brakes - Upgraded powerful Coopercraft brakes front and rear provide a reassuring feel.
Engine & Transmission
The fully detailed engine and engine bay house the incredible Jaguar 3781cc straight 6 engine, 265 bhp at 5500 rpm, 260 ft-lb torque at 4000 rpm with triple 2-inch SU carburettors.
The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate documents that this is a correct numbers matching car, original engine block and cylinder head.
On the road she cannot fail to impress and what a joy to drive. The original Moss manual gearbox selects with ease, the clutch is light in operation, gear changes slick and precise and starts hot or cold without issue. The 3.8 Series crisp exhaust note is magical through the stainless horned tailpipes.

Built in December 1963 and registered new by Austin Monks of Boston, Lincolnshire on 5th February 1964.
The history file records this 3.8 Series was first rebuilt in the late eighties during which the speedometer was rest to zero. The speedometer now reads 4256 miles.
A further comprehensive ground up nut and bolt restoration to original specification apart from the Coopercraft uprated front and rear brakes was carried out by noted XK Classics, London Limited to an outstanding level during 2016/17.
Other documentation records a wealth of invoices for parts and maintenance dating back to the mid 1990s, 19 past MOT certificates and old tax discs, Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate and past sales information from the likes of Aston Workshop.
