The paintwork over the years has been maintained to an excellent standard and presents beautifully as you can see from the pictures.

The history file documents that a Factory Leyland replacement engine and gearbox was fitted during the extensive restoration in 1984. At this time the speedo was also replaced and now indicates a mere 9427 miles have been covered on this new engine and gearbox. The history file contains the Leyland engine tags, pictures of the engine and gearbox on a crate waiting to be installed, and the original chassis plate detailing the old engine number as this was changed to display the new engine number.
On the road, she is a joy to drive needless to say she runs perfectly hot or cold and sounds tremendous through the full stainless steel exhaust system with horned tailpipes.
