Interior & Equipment
The interior presents to show standard, unmarked striped velour chocolate/black electric multi-way adjustable driver and passenger bucket seats with integral headrests, stunning oatmeal carpets throughout with black carpeted over mats. The optional 363mm 4-spoke H leather sports steering wheel is in excellent order.
All switchgear, interior lighting, heater, smooth black headlining, front and rear seatbelts, door trim etc again all unmarked. Sound is provided by a Clarion single CD/radio unit through multi-way factory-fit speakers. The boot area is complete with the original unmarked carpet, courtesy light, tool kit, warning triangle, steel spare wheel, and original factory build sticker... Amazing throughout
Exterior
Finished in factory Guards Red, (code L3MA), and has a brilliant uniformed deep mirror finish throughout. All panels are perfectly straight and gaps as per it left the factory.
All decals and body moldings are in perfect order, original lights all around are in exceptional order with uniform colour and a silky polished finish.
The colour coded mirrors are unmarked, all original factory glass and the large rear window again all unmarked, the windscreen has very minor delamination in the bottom 2 corners which is common on the 924 and 944 models. The removable electric tilt sunroof seals perfectly with no evidence of water ingress and the deformable rear spoiler is unmarked... Presents in show winning standard.
Wheels, Tyres & Brakes
Wheels - Flawless 6J x 15 pressure cast alloy wheels with coloured crested centre caps and fitted with excellent all matching Hankook Kinergy Eco 195/65 R15 tyres.
Brakes - Dual circuit, servo-assisted, internally vented disc brake system with floating calipers. The discs and pads all around present as new.
Engine & Transmission
Fitted with the original 4 cylinder, 2.5 litres engine which at the time was one of the largest 4 cylinder engines in production. 160 BHP at 5800 RPM maximum torque 140 ft-lb at 3000 RPM, 0-60 mph in 8.3 sec, water-cooled, alloy engine, digital fuel injection and ignition system.
Rear mounted 5-speed gearbox operates with ease, gear selection is slick and smooth, the recent Sachs clutch is light and progressive in operation. Cam and balance belts replaced by Zuffenhaus Porsche Specialist July 2023.
This 2.5S is super quiet, idles beautifully, pulls very strongly throughout the rev range, and starts with ease hot or cold. The engine and engine bay are detailed throughout and display many original build stickers.

The 924 was produced between 1977-1988 and was Porsche’s first front-engined production car. The original 924 had 125 hp and ran 0-62 mph in 9.9 secs with a top speed of 125 mph. Later models included the 924 turbo, Carrera GT, Carrera GTS, and 924S.
