Stunning... Optional Magnolia leather V8 style seats piped in black, the only one in existence with this colour combination. The seat bolsters are plump and leather in outstanding order. The original carpets and factory over mats are unmarked and in fantastic order again showing no signs of wear. The body colour composite gear lever shroud, aluminium gear lever knob, gear lever gaiter, and all switch gear present as new, Pioneer sound system with Alpine speakers, optional air conditioning, tilt and removable Targa roof, alcantara headlining, unmarked dashboard, door cards and leather Momo steering wheel and four highly legible VDO instruments...
Exterior
Finished in completely original and optional extra Azure Blue Metallic paintwork (Code B20). The finish is magnificent with a uniformed mirror finish throughout. All trim and GT3 decals, original Cibie headlights, Factory Triplex glass and one touch electric windows are in excellent order. The tilt and removable Targa top operates perfectly and can be stowed away in the boot. The pop up headlights sit perfectly straight and are strong and positive in operation. Swiss type rear transom spoiler lip and Panel fit is perfect as per when it left the factory... Simply outstanding.
Wheels, Tyres & Brakes
Fitted with outstanding original OZ Monobloc 5 Spoke Lotus alloy wheels 7J front and 8.5J rear with all matching Continental ContiSportContact 3 tyres, 215/40 ZR17 up front and 245/45 R17 at the rear.
The Kelsey Hayes ABS braking system enhances stopping performance and increases vehicle stability in extreme conditions while maintaining a progressive feel. Recent Brembo brake discs have been fitted.
Engine & Transmission
The Esprit GT3 model is fitted with Lotus's highly developed Mid-mounted new 1973cc (type 920) aluminium alloy 16-valve 4-cylinder engine with a water-cooled TB03 turbocharger and integral wastegate.
This highly tuned engine develops 240 horsepower at 6250 rpm, 216 lb/ft torque @ 3,750 rpm allowing the vehicle to put more costly supercars to disgrace in terms of performance, 0 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds, 0 to 100 mph in 12.9 seconds and a top speed of 163.5 mph.
A Lotus scheduled 'C' Service has just been completed including a cambelt change and all fluids etc. Recent expenditure includes all new shock absorbers, new clutch, new stainless exhaust etc. The engine bay is detailed and presents beautifully.
On the road the Esprit GT3 possesses the legendary Lotus ride and handling, silk smooth gear selection, light clutch, and starts effortlessly hot or cold.

The last iteration of the four-cylinder Esprit was the GT3, a turbocharged, charge cooled variant with the 2.0 L Type 920 which had previously been used only in Italian market cars. The GT3 was produced alongside the Esprit V8.
The Esprit GT3 started production in 1996 and ended in 1999 with a total of 199 European vehicles produced. Thoroughly refined throughout with regards to build quality and attention to detail.
