The original reclining sports black Connolly leather seats with optional headrests piped in black are in fantastic order with no adverse seat base or bolster wear. Leather door cards with door pockets, dash top and centre console remain in superb order as do the original black carpets piped in black. Burr Walnut inlays are in original excellent order with no cracking or lifting. All interior lighting, gauges, switches and electrics work as they should. All flooring wood panels have been protected with teak oil. Moto Lita wood rim 3 spoke flat steering wheel, stainless steel Morgan cross member plates and stainless steel rear view mirror complete this gorgeous interior...
Exterior
Finished in factory Corsa Red, the paintwork has a brilliant uniformed deep gloss shine throughout. All original aluminium body and wings are perfectly straight, totally corrosion free, perfect door closures and gaps as per it left the factory. All original Lucas lights front and rear are in exceptional order with uniform colour and a silky polished finish, all brightwork is in exceptional order with no adverse corrosion and the optional rear luggage carrier as new. Full width bumpers, Union Jack badges, tread rubbers, wing top running lights, Lumax spotlights, badge bar, stainless stone guard and mesh grill...
Black vinyl hood, matching side screens with aluminium frames and full tonneau cover appear to have never been used... Wonderful

Fitted with the original unmarked Code 8 classic Morgan Motor Company Forged 15" 6.5J alloy wheels, sitting on all matching premium original specification 205/60 R15 tyres.
Girling hydraulic dual brake system with servo assistance, front 279mm disc and rear 229mm drums are perfectly balanced and pull up strongly, fly-off handbrake. The competition derived steering is precise and responsive.
Engine & Transmission
Fitted with the awesome all aluminium 3.9 litre V8 Overhead Valve engine, Lucas Hot Wire 14 CUX Electronic Fuel Injection, optional aluminium radiator. Power is plentiful, on tap, linear and smooth, hot or cold starting is instant and she idles perfectly. There are no adverse rattles or untoward noises. The 5-speed gearbox operates smoothly and with ease, the clutch is light and progressive. The engine bay is completely detailed. Stainless steel exhaust, the unmistakable throaty V8 burble is second to none. Driving is a joy, the Plus Eight is immensely versatile, as happy in city traffic as on a country road...
Summary
Registered new 2nd January 1991 by Morgan Specialists Donaldson and Evans, Ashley Road, Hale, Cheshire to Mr P Coster.
Mr Coster ordered this stunning Plus 8 on 7th December 1981 securing with a £150 deposit. The history file contains the original order form, specification sheet, letters from Morgan over the next 10 years with build updates, a receipt for a further £500 build deposit dated 20th September 1991, original sales invoice, Morgan Motor Company certificate of newness etc. Mr Coster cared for and cherished the car for the next 20 years.
