Wheels, Tyres & Brakes
The cast wheels maintain the characteristic MV “star” design but the style is without a doubt more advanced. They have been optimized in their design and are 1,2 kg (2.64 lbs) lighter compared to the previous units. Fitted with new Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa 120/70 ZR 17 front and 190/55 ZR17 rear.
Speed is kept under control by a two 320mm diameter front discs with steel flanges gripped by the new four-piston Brembo Monobloc M50. At the rear there is a 220mm diameter disc brake paired with a four piston Nissin caliper.
Engine & Transmission
In 2013, the F4 received a 195 bhp version of the short-stroke "Corsacorta" engine that had previously been used on the F4 R and F4 RR models.
Four cylinder, 4 stroke, 16 valve timing system DOHC, radial valve, 998 cm3 (60.9 cu. in.) engine which develops a maximum power of 143.5 KW (195 Hp) at 13400 rpm and 110.8 Nm (11.3 Kgm) of torque at 9600 rpm. The four stroke unit is mated to a cassette style, six speed, constant mesh transmission with wet, multi-disc clutch with back torque limiting device.
The incredible sound is via the characteristic “organ pipe” exhaust system which has always been a distinctive element of the F4.
Summary
Registered new 9th March 2014 by Italia Moto Ltd, Lincoln and only having 2 former keepers since. This F4 has clearly been cherised and used sparingly having only covered 550 miles in the last 5 years and 5770 miles in total.
The history file contains the impressive MV Agusta Motorcycle Art carbon effect presentation box folder including the F4 user manual and quick reference guides housed in a leather wallet, official MV Agusta keyring, 2 original keys, MV welcome letters, MV USB and Key Code Card, plus past MOT certificates and servicing invoices.
Last serviced March 2023 and covered a mere 136 miles since. This is an outstanding cherished low mileage and low owner example lavished with carbon fibre and one not to be missed.
