Wheels, Tyres & Brakes
The 72 spoke chrome wire wheels and chrome 2 ear spinners are in fantastic blemish free order. Sitting on all matching quality Falken Sincera SN-828 185/65 R15 tyres and have plenty of tread remaining.
During the extensive restoration the servo assisted brakes were all renewed with new front brake calipers pads and discs, rear drums, and brake lines needless to say the braking power is excellent. The all new steering is precise and responsive, handling superb.
Engine & Transmission
The original water-cooled o.h.v. six-cylinder in-line 2912cc engine is superb. The engine was rebuilt in 1986 at approx 63k in California and again during the full restoration completed August 2011 and has covered 5800 miles since. Needless to say she responds superbly, pulls strong in every gear, perfect oil pressure and idles faultlessly. Overdrive in 3rd and 4th gears which operates in and out very smoothly, the gearbox and clutch are light and precise and she sounds glorious through the full stainless steel exhaust system, that six-cylinder sound is simply… Magical
