As only Alpina know how... Stunning extended Light Silver Grey Nappa leather with Alpina roundels, rhombs and piping all in Estoril Blue. Impeccable craftmanship at an optional package cost of £4045. Alpina features throughout including blue Alpina clocks, Alpina blue stitched multifunctional steering wheel with gear change, unmarked Alpina and velour floor mats. As you would expect all gauges and switches work as they were intended. The unmarked electric memory and heated sports seats are luxurious and comfortable, you feel that your driving something very special. a small pixel line on the navigation screen can just be seen. The unmarked boot area houses the unused tool kit, and covered optional wind deflector £250... The list goes on and on, pure luxury.
Exterior
The smooth and refined alternative to an M3...
Finished in optional special order paint colour Estoril Blue Metallic (Code 335) at a cost of £1195. The paintwork has a brilliant uniformed deep shine throughout. All original panels are perfectly straight, totally rust free and gaps as per it left the factory. All original lights are in exceptional order with uniformed colour and a silky polished finish, the front Bi-Xenon lights are a factory option £545. Original supplying dealer number plates, the unique Alpina body styling has some very minor touched in stone chips to the front and rear bumpers, unmarked Alpina decals and badges, optional M3 mirrors and unmarked optional blue power hood £900... As described by Total BMW - A car for the true connoisseur that wants something a little bit different, you've got to go for Alpina.
Wheels, Tyres & Brakes
The striking and unmistakable 18" 20 spoke Alpina light alloy wheels are in perfect order and unmarked, 8x18 inch front and 9x18 inch rear. The Alpina patented lockable centre covers concealing the tyre valves are in excellent order and operate perfectly. Dressed with all matching excellent Continental Conti Sport Contact 5, 225/40 ZR18 front and 255/35 ZR18 at the rear.
Stopping power provided swiftly and controllably by BMW's all-disc set up 325mm front ventilated discs and 320 mm rear solid discs.
Alpina/Sachs dampers mated to Alpina springs offer exceptional comfort and superb roadholding, not far off the razor sharp responses of the M3.
Engine & Transmission
The engine is smooth and refined and only available in the UK with automatic 5 speed box. The larger 3.4 litre 24 valve straight 6 cylinder engine produces 305 bhp @ 6300 rpm and 362 Nm of torque, 0-60 in 6.3 seconds and a max speed of 165 mph. The super smooth and Alpina's very own five speed Switchtronic system allows for self shifting via buttons mounted to the steering wheel making driving on twisty B-roads or motorways a joy.
The engine bay is fully detailed and displays many of the original Alpina stickers, decals and dual BMW and Alpina chassis numbers.

Alpina Threes have been going since the first incarnation of the model back in the late 1970s so the E46 3-series was destined to receive special attention. The E46 Alpina was launched with the B3 3.3 Cabrio which had dropped the Convertible moniker and now with 280 bhp. Finally in July 2002 Alpina took the big six a bit further and created the 3.4 litre and 305 bhp for what is simply called the B3 S Cabrio.
